| 8.1 | The Executive Code and Police Code | |
| The Executive Code of Americas-Union shall be responsible for administering the operations and procedures of the Executive Branch consistent with the Charter, whereas the Police Code shall be responsible for administering the code of conduct, functions and operations of law enforcement officials. | ||
| The Police Code depends in part upon the Executive Code in the fair operation and respect of the Executive Branch of the independence of the Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch and the fair hearing of charges and cases of accused persons. | ||
| Similarly, the Executive Code in part depends upon the just operation of the Police Code in administering the code of conduct, functions and operations of law enforcement officials. | ||
