All forms the Americas Union comply to the Universal Form Code (UFC) standards of the Ucadian societies. |
| |
The Universal Form Code (UFC) is a standard for the naming, construction, recording and management of standard forms, completed forms and the information contained within. |
| |
There are essentially five main components to all forms adhering to the UFC standard: |
| |
+ UFC Identifier |
| |
+ Code of Law that Creates UFC Form |
| |
+ Standard Header |
| |
+ Standard Body |
| |
+ Standard Action |
| |
UFC Identifier |
| |
The UFC Identifier is an eighteen (18) digit number that uniquely identifies each and every valid form received and accepted by all Ucadian Societies. No two forms will ever have the same UFC Identifier. |
| |
For example the UFC identifier for the standard form "Commission Notice of Judge to Court" = XX0001-000000-000000 and is authorized by Article 148.1 - Appointment of Judges of the Judicial Code. |
| |
When the UFC form is received and process, it shall belong forever to the set of all forms of the same class. Therefore, a unique appointment of a unique judge shall have the UFC identifier = XX0001-100000-000002 (for example). |
| |
Code of Law that creates the UFC form |
| |
All forms used by the society source their authority, use and context through one or more Codes of Law. |
| |
No form is permitted to be used unless it has specific legitimacy and reference to one or more Articles of the Codes of Law of the Society. |
| |
This ensures the integrity of the procedures and rule of law of the society are protected and that unauthorized tampering or creation of forms is not permitted. |
| |
Standard Header |
| |
All UFC forms must adhere to a standard style and include certain key information at the top (header) of the form. |
| |
This is called the "header" and defines the authority of the form, its unique identity, name and function. |
| |
The Key information that must always be present in a standard header of a UFC form includes: |
| |
+ The unique name of the society or entity issuing form (eg Americas Union Supreme Court) with the coat of arms, flag or seal optional; and |
| |
+ The unique Latin name of the source of law for the society by which all Codes of Law (and therefore the form) source their authority (eg Cartae Sacrorum De Congregatio Africans); and |
| |
+ The unique Registration number of the entity issuing the form (eg the unique registration number of the Americas Union Supreme Court); and |
| |
+ The UFC identifier of the form; and |
| |
+ The Article reference and Code of Law reference that gives life to the specific form; and |
| |
+ The name of the form in the same size type face as the name of the society or issuing entity at the top of the page. |
| |
While forms may vary by including more information in the header beyond these essential items, the list of information above represents the mininum information of a header for any valid UFC form. |
| |
Standard Body |
| |
The standard body of the form is the functional area of the form in which certain information is requested and to be included. |
| |
Standard Action |
| |
The standard action of the form is the procedure for next step in receiving a completed form, or instructions of completing a form. Unless otherwise stated, all forms should indicate a standard action of some kind. |
